We just received a copy of Marti Emerald’s memo to City Council, which requests 6 public restrooms for downtown San Diego, including East Village and Little Italy! Marti Emerald spoke at our Launch event on May 22, 2010 and so did council member Todd Gloria. GTT showed up in force at the City Council meeting on May 25, 2010 and presented the council with 5000+ petition signatures supporting public access to restrooms and clean drinking water for all San Diegans.

Please click here and check out the memo, which mentions our Basic Dignity Campaign and Launch Event, as well as the solution we proposed to purchase the Portland Loo, a successful model in Portland. Go GTT!
