Once we identify a topic that needs further study in order to arrive at a long-term solution, like the economics of homelessness in San Diego, we would like to write grants and sponsor calls for papers from interested parties in the research and academic fields including graduate students and PhD candidates. Eventually, we could host such submissions through a quarterly or bi-annual journal that would feature articles by interested academics, lawyers, students, commentators, etc. This could also potentially provide an outlet for artistic submissions on various issues of public or progressive interest.
